Pre-diabetes and Diabetes: What You Need to Know

People with higher than normal blood glucose levels, but not yet in the diabetic range, have what's called "prediabetes." Insulin resistance and prediabetes usually have no symptoms. You may have either condition for several years without noticing. If you have prediabetes, you have a higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
